ADVOCATING FOR CHANGE
At SecondMuse Foundation, we believe that the key to building thriving, just societies is to prioritize relational wealth over other notions of wealth. With this approach, we can rethink what no longer serves society, to disrupt the status quo, and reimagine a better future.
WHO WE ARE
SecondMuse Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that advocates for a different approach for building inclusive and resilient societies and economies, which is referred to as relational wealth. It draws learning from the experiences of our partners, other organizations and communities around the world to advance the approach to a larger audience. The Foundation contributes to thought leadership, field building, and the creation of public goods on relational wealth. We seek to empower a community of practitioners and influence funders to better understand relational wealth and how it can be harnessed to benefit all people and the planet.

We partner with other organizations and communities to draw on their experience and learning in systems change, economic development, accelerating impact businesses and deep design and research capabilities.

To create frameworks and other useful communication tools
To gain insights from others and integrate them into a cohesive approach to building relational wealth
To support partners through fiscal sponsorship and measurement services in their journey in building relational wealth at scale.

The SecondMuse Foundation uses a relational wealth framework to understand and cultivate relational wealth. We are looking for partners to collaborate with us in advancing these frameworks and applying them in various contexts. Our partnerships take the form of:

OUR Strategic Framework

We established SecondMuse Foundation in 2019 as a Delaware-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization conceived as one of several complementary entities for building a world that works for people and the planet.
Refining relational wealth as a cutting-edge approach and expanding it for a larger audience is the core of the SecondMuse Foundation’s work. We focus on advancing the approach to a larger audience, seeking to empower a community of practitioners and funders to understand relational wealth better and how it might be harnessed to benefit all people and heal the planet.
Our historY
We started this journey by supporting several programs that seek to build relational wealth. In 2022 we made the decision in partnership with others that we need to resource the development of the framework that underpins relational wealth. As such, we seek to strengthen this framework, build a community and sponsor programs that exemplify relational wealth. This work is supported by implementing partners from our wider network.
